Pfrondorf
Pfrondorf is located at the border of the Schönbuch nature reserve, about 6 km north east of Tübingen. The nearest train station is Tübingen and every 15 minutes a bus runs to Tübingen. This district, located on a plateau above the Neckar river offers great views to the Swabian Alb. The oldest building in Pfrondorf is the so-called Schneckenhof (grange snail) that was built in 1495. It was named for the spiral staircase winding up on the outside of the building.
