Granary (Kornhaus)
The impressive house was built in Alemanic timber framing construction in 1453. In former times there was a grain trade on the ground floor. The upper stories were reserved for social life, such as theatre performances by travelling comedians.
The building was recently renovated and since 1991 it hosts the City museum with changing exhibitions and one permanent exhibition about the history of Tübingen, including a depictive model of the town.
