Bebenhausen

Bebenhausen is located in Schönbuch, not far from Tübingen. The main train station in Tübingen is 6.5 km away; there is a bus line connecting Bebenhausen with Tübingen and Stuttgart. It is worth seeing the centre of the village, including the former Cistercian abbey of 1187 with a triple ringwall and a chapel. The area was later used as a hunting lodge by the kings of Württemberg  and it served as a retirement home for the last royal couple after their abdication
