Unterjesingen

Unterjesingen is located about 6 km west of Tübingen on the southern edge of Schönbuch. The so-called Ammertal train connects with Tübingen and Herrenberg. Numerous vineyards on the southern slopes are evidence of the old local viniculture tradition. The museum of local history is located at the Rosecker Kelter (vine press), built in 1784, including a historic manor. The late Gothical parish church Sankt Barbara is also worth seeing.
