Hirschau

Hirschau is located at the edge of the Spitzberg nature reserve, about 6 km away from Tübingen. Bus connections run to Tübingen and Rottenburg. The modern St. Ägidius church and the pilgrimage church "Zu unserer lieben Frau beim Holderbusch und St. Urban" at the cemetery as well as the "Riedkelter" (grape and fruit press) are all worthwhile stops. "Spitzberg" has unique flora and fauna. A footpath leads to the Wurmlingen chapel which Ludwig Uhland praised in several songs.
